The Superhead 3000K SOLO SLIM 7.2W/m light strip provides beautifully even light. It has a colour rendering index of 94-95 which means that colours are beautifully reproduced. This LED strip light is dimmable. The SOLO SLIM strip light is, as its name suggests, only 10mm narrow!

Product information

SOLO SLIM 7,2W/m light strip is very uniform and efficient (795 lumens per meter) and has 608 LED circuits per meter. This makes the light uniform.

Installation

The LED strip light comes in 1m rolls and can be cut to size up to 210mm apart. The strip light has a 50 cm DC plug-in connecting cable pre-wired at both ends. The red wire is +, and the black wire is -. Our LED strip light is easy to attach with the 3M very strong adhesive tape. The cutting points can be found on the underside of the strip light under the tape. The cutting points have copper dots, so you can solder a low-current wire to the strip from these points to connect to the transformer. We recommend soldering the strips together. When soldering, use a knife to remove the silicone coating that protects the strip light from the copper dots.

We recommend that for long runs (over 10m), the transformer is branched at both ends of the LED strip light to avoid a reduction of light at one end of the strip light. the led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip to allow excess heat to escape from the led circuitry. This will prolong the life of the led strip light. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where we have a wide range of different profiles available. We also offer a range of branching plugs and connecting wires.

Led strip lights work well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip light. The power supply does not need to be dimmable when dimming with a regulator and receiver. Alternatively, a wireless control RF or Zigbee transformer is available, where the transformer is paired directly with the wireless pushbutton.

Dim

To dim your Led strip light, you can use either a traditional rotary, wired dimmer or our VaLO RF series wireless dimmer. When using the rotary conventional dimmer, the transformer of the LED strip light must be TRIAC dimmable. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
