The colour temperature of the light of the Tunnelma bendable strip light can be adjusted between 2500K and 6500K.The strip light can also be bent sideways, for example in the corner of the room, thanks to the bending points on the led strip light. The adhesive surface of the strip light is pre-applied, so it adheres firmly to smooth and flat surfaces such as aluminium. The colour rendering index of the strip light is over 95 which means that the colours are well reproduced (best reproduced in 4000K white light)

This led strip light operates on 24V voltage, and is dimmable by selecting the appropriate dimming products. The colour control can be made to work for example by ordering the VaLO series rotary (RGB/CCT) pushbutton and receiver (RGB/CCT). For smart homes, for example, a Zigbee transformer and controllers are selected.

Product information

Our mood strip is 14.4W/m (1000 lumens per metre) and has 60 LED circuits per metre. This makes the light uniform enough for indirect lighting, for example. When mounted on an aluminium profile, the spotlight is only noticeable when viewed directly from the front. The light strip is bendable thanks to the bending points and the adhesive surface on the light strip. You can easily get the strip light at the angle you want without soldering. When indirectly illuminated through a wall, the light is uniform. The CRI of the strip light is over 95, which is excellent and suitable for home lighting.

Installation

Led strip light comes in 1m rolls and can be cut to size up to 10cm apart. The strip light has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend soldering the light strips together, as we have found that the quick-release fasteners loosen over time and loosening causes the lights to flash. our led strip light is easy to attach with the 3M very strong adhesive tape that comes with it.

We recommend that you do not feed a 24V strip light more than 10m with one transformer, to avoid light degradation at the other end of the strip light. So if you need more than 10m of light strip, we recommend to feed the light strip from the middle of the transformer. the LED strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip, so that excess heat is conducted away from the LED circuit. This will prolong the life of the led strip light. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where you can find several different types.

the 10m CCT led strip light is connected to a control unit, and the control unit is connected to a power supply which is connected to the mains. For smart homes, a Zigbee transformer and controllers are selected.

The Led light strip works well with solar power, boats and cars if they use 24VDC. Then a separate power supply is not needed. In other cases, order a 24V power supply of suitable power for the strip light. The power supply does not need to be dimmable, as dimming takes place between the strip light and the control unit, after the transformer.

Dimming

To dim the Led strip light, you can use the wireless dimmer of our VaLO RF-series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the luminaire, but the luminaire is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee transformer and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee transformers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip light and the power supply. You can then control the strip light with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
