Dimmer switch for LED strip. The perfect solution for alley lights and other applications where the need for lighting is limited to the hours of darkness. We do not recommend for installation in windowless areas, as the LED strip would be on all the time. In addition to outdoor lighting, applications include stairwells with windows where lighting is required at night. A dimmer switch allows the lighting to be set to come on when the light level falls below a certain value. The light level is adjustable between 2 and 60 lux.

Fits beautifully on all our aluminium profiles. The opal cover does not interfere with light level detection. Can be used with both 12V and 24V strips. Maximum load with 12V strip 96W and with 24V strip 192W (8A). We recommend to load the maximum at 90% so that the product is not constantly at full load. This will guarantee the longevity of the product.

Installation

Tin between the strip and the driver (i.e. output 12-24V and input 12-24V).

Make sure you use a DC voltage driver and not a DC current driver. When inverting, the power should be off.
Make sure the plus "+" and minus "-" are connected correctly to the driver. The plus and minus must not be cross-connected, but the plus must be connected to the plus and the minus to the minus.

Use of the dimmer switch

After installation, adjust the desired ignition light value (small screw next to the sensor)
Turns on the lights when it is dim enough
