LED RGBW STRIP SMD 5050 PERLY, 14,4W/m (72W/5m) 12V, water resistant IP65
Helmeile -light strip RGB version, which uses RGB+4000K LED chips with a white color rendering index of 83. This LED strip is dimmable and waterproof (non-yellowing surface).
There is also an RGB version of the Helmeile light strip, where we use RGB+4000K LED circuits with a white colour rendering index of 83. This LED strip is dimmable (with dimmable driver or receiver) and waterproof (non-yellowing surface). Our led strip is easy to attach with the 3M high adhesive tape included.
For playful lighting
Our Helmeile RGB strip has a luminous intensity of 14.4W/m and 60 LED circuits per metre. This makes the light sufficiently uniform for indirect lighting in various spaces such as terraces, lounges, cinema rooms and dormitories. Also for creating atmosphere in sports and leisure areas.
When mounted on an aluminium profile, the spotlight is only visible when looking directly at the light from the front. When illuminated indirectly through a wall, the light is uniform. The CRI of the strip is 83. The strip should always be mounted in metal to allow the LED circuits to dissipate their heat away from the circuit. This way the LED strip will withstand use and will not break.
The LED strip comes in 5m rolls and can be cut to size every 10cm. The tape has clear markings to make cutting easier. We recommend soldering the strips together as we have found that the quick-release fasteners loosen over time and loosening causes the lights to flash. We are happy to help with any installation issues.
To dim the LED strip, you can use the wireless dimmer in our VaLO RF kit. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the light, but the light is powered by a constant current.
In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee driver and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee drivers, the receiver is already built-in.
With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.
We recommend powering from both ends if the strip is more than 5m in a continuous length, this prevents light loss and gives an equally bright light from both ends. The Led strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the LED circuitry. This will prolong the life of the led strip. Aluminium profiles can be ordered from our online shop, where three different types are available. We do not currently offer drivers for 12V RGB strip.
The LED strip works well with solar power, boats and cars that use 12VDC, then a separate power supply is not needed.
