LED DOUBLE SQUARE 233 CCT (white) 18W is dimmable, directional and moisture-proof (IP44), also from behind. This is a more efficient version of our popular light for demanding applications. The LED circuitry used is high quality LED circuits with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 98 (full spectrum!) and the colours are reproduced as they should be. In the light, the light comes beautifully from a single point. The light is also available in brushed silver and black.
The LED DOUBLE SQUARE 233 CCT White is suitable for general lighting applications from private homes to public spaces. The luminous intensity of the LED DOUBLE SQUARE 233 CCT is equivalent to at least 2x50W halogen, 2x600 lumens. The light has an extra lens for light equalisation, which, when removed, provides 2x750 Lumen.
The light has an adjustable light temperature of 2700-4000-5300K. Adjustment from the power supply switch, so you can choose the colour that suits your interior. Even change according to the seasons! If you want to adjust the light wirelessly without a ladder, you need a VaLO driver and a wireless button suitable for CCTs.
The light is IP44, which means it is splash-proof, even from the rear. The driver of the light is not splash-proof.
LED DOUBLE SQUARE 233 is a flush mount light in cast aluminium with the LED circuit directly mounted on the body. This solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature and the high quality LED circuit guarantee a long lifetime of 50,000h and we grant a 7 year warranty on our manufactured light!
The LED module of the light is removable and replaceable.

Installation
The light has a solid body. The light is very low, only 50-55mm high! The light will therefore fit into a typical roof structure with only 48x48mm of insulation and 13mm plasterboard under the vapour barrier. We recommend installing a piece of board or plasterboard above the light to prevent the insulation from sagging. The mounting hole is an ellipse, 2x80mm holes are drilled 1cm apart and any excess pieces are removed between the holes.
Each light is supplied with its own chained power supply which fits through the mounting hole into the mounting space. By moving the power supply away from the light, we prevent the power supply from heating up the light, and we can keep the size of the light small. The power supplies are long-lived and this also allows us to avoid the typical problem with halogen lamps, where one power supply is subjected to a heavy load and gets hot, and breaks the light. There is a quick connector between the light and the power supply for easy installation. The change of the light colour (WW 2700K, DW 4000K, CW 5300K) is done by a switch on the power supply. Switch off the power before changing the light colour. By default, the light is set to a neutral light hue, DW 4000K.
Dimming
The light can be dimmed with a wireless dimmer or TRIAC dimmers, from the PRIMARY side and they also work with home automation such as KNX. Suitable dimmers can also be ordered from us, "Led dimmers"

Led DOUBLE SQUARE 233 CCT (White) 18W is very low, only 50-55mm in height. Fits to typical ceiling structure where there is 48x48 ceiling frame and 13mm plaster board. We recommend you to install a piece of plaster board on top of the light to stop the insulation from pressing on to the light. Installation two adjoining holes 80mm in diameter (holes 1 cm apart from each other. Cut the excess plaster from between the holes).
All led spots come with driver that fits in from the installation hole. By having a separate driver, we have reduced the temperature of the light, making it last longer. There is a quick connector on the cord between the lamp and the driver to make installation easy. Driver has chaining ability (2 inputs) and quick connectors
This light has adjustable white colour temperature with 3 steps: 2700-4000-5300K. Always turn power off before changing colour, otherwise you will damage the fixture.
