The LED PILLAR LIGHT is a dimmable light that fades into the ceiling. Have you always wondered how hidden spotlighting is done in hotels? Here it is. A little extra work to install, but a great result! We use high quality LED circuits with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 95 (full spectrum!) and the colours are reproduced as they should be. The light comes beautifully from a single point and the inner ring of the light is black which deepens the effect of the invisible downlight.
LED PILLO ROUND is suitable for general lighting from private homes to public spaces. LED PIILO PYREREГ„ has a luminous intensity equivalent to at least 75W halogen, +1000 Lumen.
The light is also available in a square version.
The light has an adjustable light temperature of 2700-4000-5800K with a switch, so you can choose the right colour for your interior. Even change according to the seasons! If you want to adjust the light wirelessly without a ladder, you need a 36V group driver, a VaLO controller and a wireless button.
The light and driver are IP21.
LED PIILO ROUND is a flush mount light in cast aluminium with the LED circuit directly mounted on the frame. The solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature and the high quality LED circuit guarantees a long lifetime of 50,000h and we grant a 5 year warranty on the light we manufacture!
The LED module of the light is removable and replaceable.

Installation
The light can also be oriented from 0 to 20 degrees, so you can point it at a blackboard! The mounting collar supplied with the light is glued (and also screwed with small screws) to the ceiling with screed during the normal roof levelling phase, i.e. it is a so-called plaster light. The space required for the light is 110mm in height, with a mounting hole diameter of 73mm.
Each light is supplied with its own power supply, which fits through the mounting hole into the mounting space. By moving the power supply away from the light, we prevent the power supply from heating the light, and we are able to keep the size of the light small. There is a quick connector between the light and the power supply to facilitate installation. The colour temperature of the light is changed by means of a switch on the power supply. The light must be switched off before changing the colour, otherwise the light will be damaged.
Dimming and infinitely variable temperature control
The light can be dimmed with a wireless dimmer or TRIAC dimmers, PRIMARY side and they also work with home automation such as KNX. Suitable dimmers can also be ordered from us, "Led dimmers"
They work well for example:
- ABB (former Ensto) Jussi 6523U
- Schneider (ex strömfors) transistor controller 315W/VA(EXXACT)!
- VaLO Triac dimmer with remote control option
If the preset three colour temperatures are not enough and you want to change the temperature steplessly, it can be done. The fixture itself uses 36V voltage and if you want to control the spots freely, you need a 36V driver, a wireless receiver and a wireless button or app. The lights are mounted in parallel.
These control devices are available in VaLO RF or VaLO Zigbee versions.

LED PIILO ROUND frame is mounted when ceiling work is in process. Installation colllar is glued with drywall fillers (and very small screws). When all ceilings are painted, then you just plug light into collar and its installed! This light requires 110mm in height. Installation hole is 73x73mm.
All led spots come with (IP21) driver that fits in from the installation hole. The driver doesn´t tolerate water. By having a separate driver, we have reduced the temperature of the light, making it last longer. There is a quick connector on the cord between the lamp and the driver to make installation easy.
This light has adjustable white colour temperature with 3 steps: 2700-4000-5800K. Always turn power off before changing colour, otherwise you will damage light.
