Features of the luminaire
MOON 600 is a circular LED spotlight ideal for bathrooms and toilets (IP55). This 11W LED mirror luminaire has a luminous intensity equivalent to at least 60W halogen and provides 800 lumens. The mirror has a 3 cm wide milk glass frame, backed by a moisture-proof LED strip for glare-free illumination. The colour and gloss level of the wall behind the mirror have a significant influence on the light output. The mirror is round and 600mm in diameter, making it suitable for smaller spaces.
The MOON mirror light has a three-touch switch for lighting, temperature control, dimming and defrosting. A blue light shines on the perimeter of the switches when the functions are not on, and a white light when the functions are on. MOON CCT is made of 5 mm thick HD glass and has a metal frame.
The product comes with a 3-year warranty.
Light control options
The colour temperature of the light is adjustable via a knob on the mirror, 3000K warm white light (CRI85), 4000K neutral white light (CRI90) and 5500K cool white light (CRI95).
All colour temperatures can be dimmed individually and continuously by pressing the power button on the bottom. The last dimming level is memorised for each colour temperature separately. This greatly increases the versatility of the mirror. For example, in the evening before going to bed you can set the mirror light to a warm tone and dim it to a very dim one, and at night the light will come on in the night mode you have set. The on/off switch is easy to find, with a blue light glowing around the switch.
Dehumidification
The mirror has a touch-switch de-fogging function, which heats up the surface of the mirror and removes moisture from the surface within minutes, keeping the mirror clear. The heating element increases the power consumption of the mirror by 20-40 W when switched on, depending on the size of the mirror.
Water and dust resistance
The IP rating is a standard that defines the level of protection of the luminaire against different environmental conditions. The standard uses two numbers, the first indicating protection against dust (0, not protected - 6, dustproof) and the second against moisture (0, not protected - 8, resistant to continuous immersion in water). This luminaire has an IP55 rating, making it suitable for use in damp locations and outdoors, such as bathrooms or covered terraces.

Please note when installing
It is a challenge to manufacture a round mirror so that the front touch buttons and rear mounting points are aligned. Each mirror has mounting points at a unique location, so check the mounting points on your mirror before drilling screws into your wall. If the fixing points are not aligned, you can drill one or two fixing holes in the back of the mirror to hang it from. The mirror comes with a black plug lead.
Please check the product and suitability for your needs before drilling additional holes. We will not refund products that have holes drilled in them, even if the 14-day return period for distance selling is still available.

WHAT IS CRI, THE COLOUR RENDERING INDEX
High quality LED lights also have a high colour rendering index, or CRI. A good colour rendering index (CRI) for home use is above 90, and nowadays many market lights are unfortunately closer to 80.
CRI tells you how well an LED light displays colours as they should be. For designers and architects, as well as interior designers, it should be one of the most important considerations. Make sure the lighting is perfect so that your artwork is what it is meant to be.
Colour rendering index
The colour rendering index is expressed as a number on a scale from zero to 100, where 0 = no colour rendering and 100 = full colour rendering. The colour rendering index of LED lights is also known as Ra, which is measured on a smaller scale than CRI. This Ra value does not include red tones or skin tones, for example, so it is a 'glossed' figure for the true quality of an LED light.
RA value
The Ra value measures the reproduction of colours using eight different reference colours. CRI takes into account the wider (15) wavelength range, including reds and other warm colours.
The Ra value is calculated by cutting the wavelength range, weighting the blue and violet tones, and calculating the weighted average of R numbers 1-8.
Excluded from the Ra value are, for example, the colour rendering of bright reds, yellows and greens, and shades close to skin tone. These are described by R-values between 9 and 15. The following is a picture of a measurement result that easily confuses the consumer.
