Technology

PLAFOND 380 3CCT 20W has 1600 lumens, which is equivalent to about 125W halogen. The LED circuits are mounted directly on the body. This solution achieves maximum thermal conductivity and a safe operating temperature (below 50 degrees Celsius). The low operating temperature ensures a long lifetime of 50,000h.

The colour rendering index (CRI) is over 95 and the thermal conductivity is excellent. High quality components ensure that the light colour does not fade.

PLAFOND 380 led is widely used as a replacement for spotlights in general lighting. A popular bathroom light. The light provided by the light is more uniform than a spotlight and is ideal for general lighting. In addition, the matt surface gives a pleasant light.

The colour temperature of the light can be selected from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white) or 5500K (cool white) using the switch on the back of the light.

Installation

The light is surface mounted and easily covers the hole of a standard light point. The light can be attached directly to most light boxes, without the need to drill additional holes in the ceiling (the box itself is usually sufficient). The light body is aluminium and powder coated matt white with a matt acrylic diffuser.

The light is dimmable and the power supply is in the body. The installation of the light is easy; you first fix the light to the ceiling of the frame, then connect the wires (240V) and finally the light is rolled up to the frame. If you want to change the temperature of the light after changing the sofa cushions, simply twist the lamp down and flip the switch.

Thanks to the low operating temperature, the light can be installed against wood or plaster.

Dimming

Dimming is possible with TRIAC dimmers from the PRIMARY side. Suitable dimmers include the Schneider EXXCT and ABB Jussi series dimmers that we sell. PLAFOND 380, 20W lamps can be connected to the same dimmer in the ABB Jussi series (70W) 3 pieces and to Schneider (300W) dimmers 14 pieces.

The LED lights are compatible with home automation (e.g. KNX, DALI, Zigbee, etc...) and work seamlessly as part of a smart home.
