Led tape that is perfect!

Led strip for stylish playful lighting

Led strip with RGB+CCT in one AND dotless SOLO technology in one. Our Led strip has a light output of 19W (12,5W RGB + 6,5W CCT) /m and has 840 led circuits per meter!! Our RGB+CCT devices only use RGB or CCT shade separately, so the power requirement is about 10W/m, but if you have a dedicated controller that allows you to use CCT and RGB AT THE SAME TIME, the power requirement is 19W/m.

The RGB led strip is used in spaces where you want to create a changing atmosphere by changing the colours of the light, but because the strip also has a very high quality CCT led circuit, you can illuminate the space well and see the ambient tones as they are intended. Why? Because the strip has a colour rendering performance of CRI 98!, making it suitable for use in home lighting or any demanding application.

SOLO Led strips are completely dot-free, meaning no traditional dots, and you can use our low profiles without seeing the LEDs. Cut-off distance 5cm, colour rendering 98, so better than the competition in every way. Philips HUE led strip replacement.

In the kitchen, for example, when installed on top of cabinets, the whole room gets even lighting and a changing atmosphere.

In living rooms / cinema rooms, the RGB+CCT led strip can be used to create a stylish atmosphere, for example in the chute of a downdraft sliding door or on a shelf of a sliding door. Lighting shelves and levels with RGB+CCT-led strip from different directions also creates an interesting, changing look throughout the room.

In children's rooms and bedrooms, RGB-led is also a great choice for bringing joy and life with colour, or alternatively for calm and relaxing lighting with white light.

RGB led strip is also used in bathrooms and wet rooms when installed on our splash-proof (IP44) profiles, which are available in a wide range of different types.

Led strip cutting

SOLO RGB+CCT LED strip comes in 5m rolls and can be cut to size and soldered every 4.2cm. We also sell the strip in lengths of your choice (note the cutting spacing!). The tape is clearly marked for easy cutting. There is a 10 cm splicing cable at each end of the reel (6 wires, R, G, B, WW, CW, +). 5 wires are enough for RGBW controllers. We recommend soldering the connecting wires together. A carefully done LED strip installation will last for years. The RGB+CCT-led strip has a calculated lifetime of +35 000 hours. Led strip guidance

The most popular is the Philips HUE with our VaLO-Zigbee series control unit, which is connected between the strip and a separately purchased power supply. In addition, a wireless controller can be purchased.

The control unit can of course also be controlled by other Zigbee devices (Philips HUE, Samsung Smartthings, Conbee2 USB stick, etc..). Of course you can also get separate RGB and CCT drivers if needed...

Correct use of the Led strip

We recommend powering from both ends if the strip is installed in a continuous length of more than 10 meters. This prevents light loss and gives an equally bright light from both ends.

The LED strip should always be attached to an aluminium strip so that excess heat is conducted away from the LED circuit. This will prolong the life of the strip and keep the warranty valid.

The Led strip works well with 24V systems such as solar power, boats and cars. In that case, a separate power supply is not needed, but a control unit is of course required.

Dimming

To dim the LED strip you can use the wireless dimmer of our VaLO RF-series. The strips can also be controlled by DALI systems. Wireless dimming is perfect for applications where there is no wall switch for the light, but the light is powered by a constant current.

In the case of a smart home, a Zigbee driver and controllers for wireless control are chosen. In Zigbee drivers, the receiver is already built-in.

With the VaLO RF wireless solution, you simply install the receiver between the LED strip and the power supply. You can then control the strip with wireless switches from wherever you want. The wireless switch is powered by batteries, which are easily replaceable. You can also mount the switch on the wall if you wish, but it does not need a separate power supply.

Create your own lighting design

Why use led strip only for traditional applications when you can make a light fixture out of almost anything? Create your own wall light by bending the LED strip and the aluminium profile into the shape you want, or by attaching the LED strip to another material that conducts heat well.

RGB (red, green and blue) in all shades + CCT (2500 - 6000K). CCT has two conductors: 2500K and 6000K, by combining the conductors 4500K you can also use RGBW controllers.

Led tape with or without dots?

Led strip from the SOLO product family differs from traditional led strip due to the super-dense led circuit structure. The advantage is no dots and a shorter cut-off interval, the disadvantage is a slightly lower light output per watt than 14.4 W/m RGBW strip and less space for solder joints due to the six-wire construction.
