LEDStore's KEHYS+GU10 KANTA package is designed for applications where a replaceable bulb is required. We recommend to use a LED bulb in the frame, so that replacement is less frequent and heat consumption is minimized.

When choosing an LED light with a replaceable bulb, it is important to note that the light must be surROUNDd by fire protection in the same way as halogen lamps. If no such protection is fitted, the cost of the protection should be taken into account when choosing the light. The protection is required for fire safety reasons, as it is possible to inadvertently replace an LED bulb with a halogen bulb that can heat up to over 200 degrees Celsius. Such damage cannot occur with solid-state LED spots.

We recommend using Led Store's advanced GU10 led spot. This spot has got rid of the typical three-pin design and the light comes from the centre of the spot, from a single point, in an eye-catching way. Energy savings are promised, as one 7W spot is the equivalent of as much as 50W halogen with the same light output. So get an efficient spot that lasts and is available in dimmable or, more economically, non-dimmable versions. For dimming we recommend ABB model 6523U or Schneider Transistor 315W/VA (ATD315).
