Led street light with just the right amount of light

The lighting needs of different workers and different people can be met individually by choosing, for example, a large, hanging aluminium profile for the lamp body, which can accommodate four LED strips in parallel. The aluminium profile and the strips can be cut to a fixed size, so that the same frame can be used to make luminaires tailored to different needs.

For example, in an office, a longer luminaire for the conference room and a shorter luminaire for the workstations can be produced with a uniform look.

The luminaire's wireless, infinitely variable light output makes it ideal for workstations, including those that can be set at height. It provides a uniform and bright light directly from above and can be used as a substitute for stand-alone floodlights.

Range of light needed for a workstation

To provide a different degree of illumination for a workstation, select the appropriate LED strips for the frame and install them at a suitable distance from the workstation. We measured the effect of the mounting height on the luminaire's light output when the luminaire has four 17 W/m LED strips in parallel and the luminaire is 1.2 m long. The luminous flux was measured directly below the luminaire.

• A working level of 460 lx is obtained when the luminaire is located 2 m above the working level.
• For the working plane, a luminaire 1,5 m above the working plane gives a 600 lux hysteresis.
• A 1 000 lux task light for the working plane when the luminaire is 1 metre above the working plane.

For reading and precise work, a task light of about 500 lx to 1 000 lx is needed. The amount of light required depends on the accuracy of the task and the individual characteristics of the operator. Also the variation in the level of the light source will affect the intensity of the light required. For example, a black surface will take up a larger proportion of the light than a light-coloured surface.

The light produced by our typopoint luminaires is uniform and bright, which means that there are no sharp, harsh shadows. The more pinpointed the light, the easier it is for shadows and shadows to form on the base. In our spotlight, the light is evenly distributed and glare-free, with an opal diffuser to diffuse the light in a pleasing way. A stepless dimming option helps to keep the light in the right place.

The parts needed to install a typospot luminaire

You can get a spotlight with the LED strips you want. The 14.4 W/m LED strip lights are the most efficient, providing a light output of around 1000 lumens per metre.

There is an LED strip with a light output of 3 000 Kelvin, a neutral 4 000 Kelvin and a CCT strip with a light output of 2 500 to 6 500 Kelvin.

Four 14,4 W/m strips mounted in parallel on a luminaire one metre long and one metre above the tympanum provide a bright tympanum luminaire with a power output of about 700 lux.

LED strip lights with lamp glass always give less light than a single arm LED strip light!

The led strip light is powered by a transformer. For example, four metres of 14.4 W/m LED strip will work with a 60 watt 24V transformer that fits inside the profile.

Angle profile for 2-3 led strip lights for task lighting

a 30 x 30 mm corner profile will typically fit 2 LED strip lights, but for a good work light you need 3 LED strip lights. The profile is 2.5 metres long, matt aluminium. The LED strip light is distributed about 2 cm below the surface, so you won't see any light spots. When using this profile, the transducer is external and is usually screwed to the roof surface or inside the service hatch.

Big profile for bigger light needs

The large, hanging aluminium profile is matt white, 2 metres long and 90x80 mm in size. The LED strip is attached to the profile at a depth of about 2 cm in opal plastic, so that the light is well distributed and the LED dots do not stand out when the luminaire is viewed from below. In this profile, a 90 x 60 mm opening is provided for the transformer, which can accommodate all our transformers.

Recessed luminaire ready to assemble or custom made ready to install

We sell LedStore profiles that are 2 m long and include wires etc. For example, one profile can be used to make 2 m long luminaires. If three LED strips (CCT strips in our online shop) per luminaire are installed, two rolls of LED strips (5 m roll) are needed.

In addition, transformers are needed for both lamps, 60W per transformer, and wireless controls, buttons for the CCT strip and wireless receivers for the CCT strip.

Also available ready to use

We make ready-made luminaires of different lengths with the desired number of LED strips. Lengths from half a metre to two metres in increments of ten centimetres. The price depends on the accessories and the type of assembly. The work is only about 62 euros per luminaire.
