each kitchen has a different design and the dimensions of the lights vary. Fortunately, there are ready-made kits or made-to-measure LED light strips for every kitchen.

We have old socket lights or halogen bulbs as a lighting solution. Where to start?
Old socket light fixture
kitchen renovations generally involve replacing cabinets, countertops and appliances associated with the countertop. lighting in the kitchen's hallway has often been a plug-in fixture, so minor modifications may be needed for the recessed fixture.
The old light fitting will be replaced by a socket and from there the saws will be fitted to the new led strip light. In this case, a sawyer or an installation service is usually required.
Old halogen lamps
If there are old halogen luminaires in the lobby, the sockets are separate and the replacement of the luminaires is not a sawing job. The transformer for the lamps is somewhere in a cupboard or on the top of a cupboard. The same place is often used for the transformer of a new LED strip light.
Thanks to the wireless controls, the saws can be taken even by branching off from the socket of a wardrobe or microwave.
Old halogen lamps often extend their legs to the bottom of the cupboard, but they can be hidden or if you have a light list, they share a good hiding place.
Light output and the effect of materials
If a poorly light reflecting matt black surface is chosen for the work surface, then the most efficient CCT strip with a high power input of 22 W/m is usually chosen for the LED strip. The strip is equipped with a dimming and a back-up lamp mode, so that the same strip can be used for infinitely variable selection of white light from orange to bluish blue. And because the strip has power, it illuminates the area well even when surfaces are dark.
In other words, the materials affect the need for light. Dark surfaces draw a lot of light from the work surface.

If a contact dimmer is selected that is pushed into the LED strip, then not as many features are required from the transformer, so the pollution comes from the transformer. Also, a contact dimmer is less expensive than a wireless wall-mounted dimmer. When ordered ready for installation, the kitchen lighting is then 180 euros cheaper than the implemented solution.

kitchen tier dimensions and choice of LED strip installation location
to add kitchen lighting, start by measuring the entire length of the cabinetry under which you want to install the LED strip lighting.
If the total length of the cabinet is 2.4 metres. The strip is extended a few centimetres shorter than the total length of the cabinet, i.e. 236 cm.
The cut-off width of the LED strip is typically 5 cm, so the LED strip is 235 cm. The LED strip can be installed anywhere, at the front, in the middle or at the back of the cabinet.
We have found that the best lighting for the whole level of the kitchen cabinetry is provided by a strip of LED light mounted in the centre in relation to the worktop. In this case, central to the worktop means 5-10 cm from the front edge of the upper cabinetry.
LED strip lighting can be installed under cupboards, and under the cupboard for drying dishes, but we do not recommend it under the cooker / extractor hood because of the heat and high water hood.
The LED aluminium rail is seamless from the top and aluminium is a rustproof material, so occasional dish spillages will not damage the LED strip. Many drying cabinets have a protective plate or a level connecting the cabinets, under which the led rail is installed, so that no water from the dishes can run off onto the rail at all.
Lighting control with Zigbee wireless control
the lighting in the kitchen can also be controlled by Zigbee devices, which can be connected to a Philips Hue bridge, for example, so that timings and programming can also be done on mobile devices (couch, tablet). If the bridge is not yet available, pairing with a Zigbee transformer and a dimmer and backup lamp button can be done without it.
