E40 LED lamps

Illuminate large spaces with our efficient and energy-efficient E40 LED lamps.

Presentation

High performance lighting reinvented

Welcome to our E40 LED lamps, designed to provide efficient lighting for large spaces while delivering exceptional energy efficiency.

The robust E40 base makes these lamps ideal for commercial and industrial applications, as well as large residential spaces where high luminous efficacy is required without compromising energy efficiency.

History of E40 lamps

The E40 lamp, often referred to as GES or Giant Edison Screw, has a 40 mm diameter cap. The letter E stands for Edison, named after the famous inventor Thomas Edison. E40 lamps have traditionally been used in high intensity applications such as street lights, high bay lighting and other industrial applications because of their high wattage capability.

As LED technology evolved, E40 lamps evolved into E40 LED converters, which offer the same high luminous intensity but with significantly lower energy consumption and longer life.

LED E40 lamps offer the same high luminous intensity, but with significantly lower energy consumption and longer lifetime than high pressure netrium or fluorescent models.

Product features

High light output

E40 LED lamps are designed for applications requiring bright illumination. They offer high luminous intensity, making them ideal for illuminating large areas.

Excellent energy efficiency

With E40 LED lamps you will experience a dramatic improvement in energy consumption compared to traditional high wattage lamps without compromising brightness.

Durable performance

Enjoy the reliability and longevity of our E40 LED lamps, with an average life of over 35,000 hours, significantly increasing your maintenance costs.

Versatility of the spare lamp compartments

From bright daylight white to smoky white, our E40 LED lamps have a variety of lamp modes to suit the requirements of different environments.

Applications

E40 LED lamps are extremely versatile and particularly popular:

  • industrial premises such as warehouses and factories
  • For outdoor lighting in warehouses, factories, warehouses, warehouses, warehouses, factories, etc
  • High-ceilinged interior spaces such as auditoriums and event halls
  • Large living spaces requiring bright lighting

Comparison between LED and sodium lamps

feature 50W E40 LED lamp High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamp
Energy consumption 50W ~70W (at comparable light output)
Lumens (luminous intensity) ~5,000 - 6,000 lm ~6,000 lm (70W HPS)
Hygroscopic efficiency (lumens/watt) ~100 - 120 lm/W ~85 lm/W (70W HPS)
Lifetime (hours) ~25,000 - 50,000 hours ~16,000 - 24,000 hours
Power reserve index 80-95 (high) 20-30 (low)
Lamb production Low Medium
Dimmable Kylla (section) No
Shade of light Different models Yellow-orange
Initial cost Higher Lower
Long-term costs Lower (energy storage and less frequent replacement) Higher (higher energy consumption and more frequent replacement)
Lamping time Wake-up time Slow (several minutes to full brightness)

Please note that the values in the table are indicative and may vary according to specific models and brands of lamps.

High pressure sodium lamps are generally more efficient in terms of lumens per watt compared to other traditional lamps, but have poorer power reserve and are less versatile than LED lamps.

Installation and care

Simple installation

E40 LED lamps have a screw base. Make sure the lamp is compatible with the E40 stem and simply screw the lamp into the socket.

Minimal maintenance

Thanks to their long life, E40 LED lamps require very little maintenance. Clean them occasionally with a soft cloth for optimum performance.
